Joan Frost Urstad is an independent professional providing project management services focusing on technology projects, to an established customer base. Frost Urstad AS as a shareholding company was started by Joan Frost Urstad in 1997. Services are mainly directed to the Process, IT and Electronics industries. Through the years we have developed a special focus on R&D and Product development projects as well as supply chain management and outsourcing operations. We operate on an international arena in international projects. Our main office is located at Smestad in Oslo, supported by a regional project office in Søgne, outside Kristiansand. With our active participation in a network of professional women, Boardroom Connect, we can nominate female candidates for board membership and corporate director positions.

SUPPLY CHAIN PROJECT - WORKSHOP WITH CHINESE CLIENT

In 2005 our Chinese client QingDao Sen Industrial Equipment Co Ltd, came to Norway during their European study tour, and Frost Urstad arranged for the 11 Chinese engineers a workshop in Supply Chain Management and European Business Culture. This consisted of intense courses in these subjects with the aid of an interpreter, including case studies. The course was concluded with visits to two Norwegian breweries, Ringnes at Gjelleråsen og Borg in Sarpsborg. We managed of course some sightseeing, to impress our visitors as here at Holmenkollen. The assignment was carried out in co-operation with our Marketing Consultant, Electrical Engeniør Ingeborg Hatlem.
